7/29/09 - Laced with Grace with be playing at the Golf Dome in Fort Wayne this weekends. Please pray that this outreach opportunity will be blessed.
4/23/09 - Laced with Grace is headed to Myrtle Beach and will be among 100 bands. They will be ministering to bikers from all over the country. Please be in prayer as they prepare to travel and minister to those involved in May.

THE BAND
Laced with Grace, began not with purposeful planning on our part. It just happened! No one sought each other out to say, “Let’s put together a band.” In fact, we barely knew each other. Indeed, we are an unlikely group of people to have crossed paths in this way. Perhaps God already designed a plan for this musical ministry and each of us simply answered His call to serve. Undoubtedly, we do feel we were brought together for a reason – to share the message of Christ’s gift of grace and salvation. We also trust His will to place us before the audience of those whom He wishes to receive this message through music, whether it is 10 people or 500!
OUR NAME
The name “Laced with Grace” also came about quite coincidentally. We came to rehearsal one night with the purpose of coming up with a name for the band. Each of us brought a list of possible names and from those lists we hoped something would fit. Well, none of the suggested names sounded right, so we put the task aside. Later in the evening a conversation ensued. The topic related to former days when drug use was a lifestyle choice for some in the group. As it happened, a certain substance had been “laced” into brownies. One band member commented that we are not “laced” with that stuff anymore ... we are “laced with grace!” And, that was it! The name spoke of what we believed and connected to those we hoped to reach – those who struggle with addictions and need the saving grace of our Lord Jesus to help them through.
